Home Again ❤️

Maanvi's POV ~

As we drifted into dreamland, I was overwhelmed by this awesome sense of calm and joy. It hit me that I found my soulmate in Advik, and I appreciate every single moment we get to enjoy together.

I got up the next morning and couldn’t help but notice how empty the bed felt without him. So, I went on a little hunt and discovered my husband crushing push-ups, all flexed out. And here I was, practically drooling over him—what a sight!

As I stood there, frozen in admiration, Advik suddenly sensed my presence and looked up, catching me red-handed, or rather, red-faced. A sly grin spread across his face, and he winked at me, his eyes sparkling with amusement.

"Enjoying the view, are you?" he teased, his voice low and husky.

I felt my cheeks flush, but I couldn't help but laugh at his playful jab. "Guilty as charged," I replied, sauntering over to him with a sly smile.

Advik chuckled and patted the floor beside him. "Come here," he said, his eyes crinkling at the corners.

I sat down beside him, and he wrapped his arms around me, pulling me close. "Good morning," he whispered, his breath tickling my ear.

I smiled, feeling a rush of happiness, and reached for my sketchbook and pencils, which were lying nearby. I began to sketch Advik, capturing the strong lines of his face and the sparkle in his eyes. He watched me, a quiet smile on his face, as I worked.

As I sketched, Advik leaned in closer, his eyes scanning my face. "You're so focused when you draw," he said, his voice low and smooth.

I smiled, not looking up from my paper. "It's my happy place," I replied, the pencil moving deftly across the page.

Advik chuckled. "I can see that. You light up when you're creating something."

I glanced up at him, my eyes meeting his. "You're pretty inspiring yourself," I said, my voice barely above a whisper.

Advik's eyes crinkled at the corners as he smiled. "Oh? And what exactly inspires you about me?" he asked, his voice teasing.

I blushed, feeling a flutter in my chest. "Everything," I replied, my voice soft.

Advik's smile grew wider, and he leaned in closer, his lips brushing against my ear. "I'm glad I can inspire you," he whispered.

AUTHOR'S POV~

They finished breakfast, packed their bags, and checked out of the villa.  Driving to the airport, Maanvi felt a pang of sadness.  "I'm really going to miss this place," she sighed. " The beaches, the food... Goa was pure magic."

Advik, glancing at her, squeezed her hand. "I know," he said. "It was amazing.  But think about it – this is just the beginning of our magic, together. Goa was incredible, but it was just a trip. Our life together? That's a real adventure."

Maanvi smiled a little, but still looked out the window. "I know, I know. It's just… back to reality, you know?"

"Reality can be pretty awesome too," Advik chuckled. "Think comfy couches, movie nights… and no more sand everywhere."

Maanvi laughed. "Okay, okay, you've got a point there.  Sand was a bit of a problem."

As they boarded the plane, Maanvi was feeling more optimistic. "You're right," she said to Advik as they settled into their seats. "This is just the beginning. I'm actually really excited now."

"See?" Advik grinned. "I told you. Now, what movie should we watch?"The flight was smooth.

Maanvi's POV ~

That place was like something out of a fairytale. We had an incredibly romantic time there. It was the perfect backdrop for our love story.

As we pulled into the driveway, I felt a sense of relief washed over me. We were finally back home after our dreamy honeymoon in Goa.

Advik's family was waiting for us at the door, big smiles on their faces. "Welcome back, you two!" Meera mom exclaimed, enveloping us in a warm hug.

Everyone welcomed us with open arms, asking about our trip and how we enjoyed our time in Goa.

I smiled, feeling happy to be back home with the people I loved. "It was amazing," Advik said, squeezing my hand. "We had the best time."

I felt a mix of relief, comfort, and warmth returning home after the trip.

Chachi led us to the living room, where a delicious spread of food was waiting for them. "We thought we'd celebrate your return with a little feast," she said, smiling.

My eyes widened as I took in the array of dishes. "This looks amazing," I said.

"It's like mom doesn't even remember me anymore" Advik complained making everyone laugh.

And this feels home, everyone beside us, surrounded by the love I'd always longed for
