Author's POV ~

As the fireworks danced in the night sky, illuminating the faces of the Malhotra family, Maanvi felt a mix of joy and apprehension. The warmth of Advik's hand holding hers reassured her, but the thought of the challenges ahead loomed like a shadow over their newly formed bond.

The celebration continued with laughter and playful banter among their siblings. Maya and Aarav occasionally pulled Maanvi into the middle of their circle, encouraging her to show off her dance moves, while Advik watched with an amused smile, his eyes sparkling with pride. Each beat of the music felt like a heartbeat in their shared journey, and Maanvi found herself lost in the moment.

Maanvi's POV ~

I never thought this family would give me this much happiness, it feels like I'm blessed to be here, after maa and papa left me, no one is there for me to be called as a family but now seeing them caring for me so much makes me feel so lucky.

As the last of the fireworks faded into the night, Advik leaned closer to me whispering, "Are you ready for our first adventure as husband and wife?" His voice was low and teasing, yet there was a seriousness behind it that made my heart race.

"Adventure? What do you mean?" I asked, his word piqued my curiosity.

He grinned, a mischievous glint in his eyes. "Tomorrow, we embark on our honeymoon trip to Goa. Just a small getaway to celebrate us-no family, just you and me.

My eyes widened in surprise. "Goa? But, I thought we were going to visit your relatives first?"

"I planned this as a surprise. We can meet family later. Right now, I want to spend some quality time with you," he replied, his sincerity evident.

My heart swelled with happiness. I couldn't help but smile at the thought of a romantic escape. "I can't believe you did this for me! It's perfect!"

As we shared a light-hearted conversation about what to expect in Goa, Maya approached, her expression a mix of excitement and concern. "Hey, you two lovebirds! Just wanted to remind you to pack some sunscreen and don't forget your swimsuits." She leaned and whispered in my ear "also bhabhi don't forget to share your photos" we both giggled and replied "sure darling"

Advik's pov ~

As the night grew late, we retreated to our room, the warm glow of the moonlight spilling through the curtains. I felt a mix of excitement and uncertainty swirling inside. The honeymoon was a chance for us to bond.

Changing into the night suit I lay on bed with my phone, maanvi still in the wardrobe, thinking about Tomorrow's journey, shorty maanvi joined in bed.

My Rapunzel is so cute in this night suit, she is laying at the corner of the bed if she moves even a little then she'll fall down.

Clearing my throat, I Circled my arms around her waist and pulled her towards me making her startled

"Advik what's this?" She questioned me, "hmm why are you moving to the corner, you'll fall down baby, this bed is comfortable for us, anyway you'll be in my arms in the morning so this would be snuggly for our night, what say?" I asked nuzzling on her neck.

She slowly turned towards me and hugged by keeping her hand on my waist and murmured softly "okay"

Smiling at her I also hugged her tightly and drift into sleep.

Maanvi's pov~

Finally done with the packing, It's a one week trip, excitement bubbled inside me.

"It looks like someone is really excited to spend time with me," Advik asked, wagging his eyebrows playfully.

Well that's true but who's gonna accept that.

"Nothing like that, I'm looking forward to going to Goa." I said and smirked.

"Ohh really! but you know what, I'm very eager to go to Goa with you. Come here I'll show you my excitement" he said pulling me towards him but I pulled my hand back ran towards the door.

But he chased me and held my hand "where you're escaping my butterfly, you can't go out of this room without my approval because you are now locked with me." he picked me and marched in the direction of bed.

Gently placing me in bed sit behind me and hugged from backwards, keeping his chin on shoulder he mumbled "thank you maanvi, for coming into my life and making it beautiful." and placed a soft kiss on my cheek.

I flushed in his confession before I could say anything there is a knock on the door, mom called us for lunch.

"Come beta, I made mutton curry, roti also ghee rice with chicken fry and Prawn briyani" chachi said seeing me.

"Wow chachi you made ghee rice you know that's my favourite dish and with chicken fry it's the best combo" I said

"Yes I know that beta and you should have an extra two plates since it is your favourite na" she said making everyone laugh.

"I see after your daughter-in-law came you made all of her favourite dishes ahh"  Advik said

"Yes that's because she deserves to be pampered" dadi said making my heart warm.

"Maanvi bachi, after lunch come to my room I'll show you the albums of our family" mom said "sure mom" I replied excitedly.

After lunch dadu and dadi went to their room to take some rest and advik went to his office because of some emergency, chachi I and Meera mom saw the pics.

"Aww arav is looking so cute in this picture mom" I said looking at him.

"Ohh that brat, he is always excited to take pictures, you know whenever he sees the camera he quickly runs to the mirror and combs his hair properly after grooming himself when he feels satisfied only he will come to take photos" she said and i laughed hearing this.

" And his brother I mean your husband is totally opposite to him, he hates to take photos, we have to force him to take a pic" chachi said and I'm not surprised to hear this because in most of the photos, he is seen grumpy rather than smiling.

Even before our marriage I thought of him as a grumpy man who always stares at people, but he never showed this side of him to me he always smiles at me, I blushed thinking about him.

After seeing the pictures I came back to my room it's half past 3, so I decided to take a short nap and lay in bed.

Advik's pov ~

Coming to the office I enquired my assistant about the clients demand after dealing with it I completed some other works because of this works there should not be any problem in our trip. Also I don't want to maanvi to feel alone.

I'll give my hundred percent in this trip and in our relationship.

Wrapping up my work and leaving for home,  on the way I went to the mall and searched for the thing I wanted, purchasing it, I left for home.

It's already five to six, directly went to my room, I see my wife talking on the phone, seeing me she gave her a pretty smile,  I returned the smile and went to change and carefully placed the box in my wardrobe.

Came out of the wardrobe only to see her rolling on the bed, wait what is she doing!?

"Maanvi?" I called her and she startled by my voice and looked at me, "hehe you came, I didn't see you" she said and fisted her hem of the shirt.

"Baby are you nervous?" I asked holding her close "no no I'm just overjoyed you know" narrowing my eyes I asked again "really?" Letting a deep breath she nodded with a sweet smile of her.

"Fine then, come on let's sleep you're already tired" I took her in my arms and we slept warm in each other's arms.
