BEGINING OF THEIR JOURNEY ❤️

Author's pov~

The atmosphere was still vibrant with the echoes of laughter and music from the reception. Maanvi felt a warm glow of happiness radiating from within her as she and Advik stepped out onto the terrace of their home. The moonlight bathed everything in a silvery hue, and the stars twinkled like tiny diamonds scattered across the velvet sky. Advik wrapped his arm around her shoulders, pulling her close, and the sweet aroma of the lavender gown she wore enveloped them both.

“Maanvi,” he whispered, his voice low and intimate, “you were breathtaking tonight.”

She turned to him, her heart fluttering at the softness in his gaze. “You weren’t too shabby yourself, Mr. Husband.” Her playful tone made Advik chuckle. “But seriously, I can hardly believe how perfect today was. It felt like a dream.”

Advik nodded, his expression turning serious. “It was a beautiful start, but… it’s just the beginning.”

Maanvi tilted her head, curious. “What do you mean?”

“Now we navigate the real world together. Family expectations, business commitments, everything. The honeymoon phase will wear off,” he said, a hint of worry creeping into his voice.

Maanvi placed a reassuring hand on his. “We’ll face it together. Just like we did tonight. Besides, I’ve got my friends and family to support me.”

Advik smiled, but there was a flicker of apprehension in his eyes. “And I have mine. But sometimes, I feel like the world expects me to be someone I’m not. Someone who can’t afford to show weakness.”

Maanvi sensed the weight of his words. She leaned closer, making sure he could feel the strength of her presence. “You don’t have to be perfect, Advik. You just have to be you. That’s more than enough for me.”

Before Advik could respond, their moment was interrupted by the sound of laughter from inside. Maya and Aarav, their younger siblings, burst onto the terrace, playfully arguing over who could dance better.

“Come on, bhabhi! Show us your moves!” Maya challenged, her eyes sparkling with mischief.

Maanvi laughed, her heart lightening in the face of their youthful exuberance. “Only if your Bhai shows us his first!”

Advik raised an eyebrow, a playful smirk forming on his lips. “Alright, but I warn you, I’m not responsible for the outcome!”

As they all gathered to dance, the carefree spirit of the night enveloped them. Maanvi felt grateful for the family she had married into, the laughter and love wrapping around her like a warm blanket.

Later that night, when the festivities had settled and the house was quiet, Maanvi and Advik found themselves alone in their room. The soft glow of the bedside lamp illuminated the space, casting shadows that danced on the walls.

“Hey, do you remember when we first met?” Maanvi asked, her eyes sparkling with nostalgia.

Advik nodded, a fond smile appearing on his lips. “How could I forget? You were so nervous, and I was… well, I had my walls up.”

“Look at us now,” Maanvi said, her voice filled with warmth. “From strangers to husband and wife in such a short time."

"Well that's because your eyes kept pulling me towards you" Advik said and slowly pecked her forehead.

Just as maanvi opened her mouth to respond, there was a sudden knock at the door. It was Aditi, with a mischievous grin on her face. “Hey lovebirds, the party isn’t over yet! We’re heading to the terrace for cracking fireworks. Come join us!”

Advik glanced at Maanvi, a spark of excitement igniting in his eyes. “Shall we?”

Maanvi nodded, her heart racing with anticipation. As they made their way to the terrace, Maanvi felt the weight of the world lift off her shoulders. The night sky was alive with colors as the fireworks lit up, illuminating the faces of her newfound family.

But as she watched Advik’s expression shift from joy to contemplation, she couldn’t shake the feeling that beneath the surface of their happiness, there were challenges waiting to unfold.

As the last firework exploded in a cascade of colors, Maanvi resolved to face whatever was coming, not just as Maanvi Singhania, but as Maanvi Malhotra—ready to carve their own path together in this beautiful, unpredictable journey of life.

And deep down, she knew that the adventure had only just begun .
