RECEPTION 🎀

Maanvi's POV:

Meera mom gave me a beautiful lavender gown, the half-shoulder neckline and it allows the focus to be on the intricate details of the bodice and the skirt. ball gown Silhouette with a fitted bodice and a voluminous skirt that flows gracefully which makes the dress more beautiful.

Taking the dress I go back to my room, there my husband is sitting and working on the laptop, his hands are moving gracefully, forgetting myself I'm gawking at him and I came to reality when he shook me little standing in front of me.

"Haa I know I'm handsome and couldn't resist but I didn't expect that my wife would stare at me with her gorgeous eyes forgetting herself" he said and wiggled his eyebrows in a teasing manner and little smile on his face.

Blood rushed to my cheeks hearing his words. I bit my inner cheeks to hide my blush. "I.. I'm not staring at you, I was just looking at the.. the

"My handsome face" he said, before completing my sentence "yes" i answered without thinking, then I realised what I have said "ah no no, I'm not looking at you" I said shooking my head like a maniac, he burst into laughter.

"You know what you're looking so adorable when you blush" I looked at him in shock he chuckled at my expression and kissed my cheeks,

"Ad..advik yo..you " he again kissed my cheeks and we heard a knock.

Advik opened the door and Meera mom entered.

"Advik and maanvi I came here to tell you that you both have to go to the temple as I arranged a small Pooja for both of you, I know you both must be exhausted but Today is a very auspicious day to perform puja, that's why I'm insisting you."

''Mom  " got ready to go to the temple.

At car, he is driving and we talked about random things soon the temple arrived.

We completed the Pooja and sat there for a while

"This place is peaceful" he nodded and held my hand.

Spending some quality time we come back home.

Advik's pov:

God!! She is so cute I can't even take my eyes from her, the way she blushes at my comment, the way her body reacts whenever I go close to her that's all pulling me towards her.

Coming back from the temple I see my mom and chachi talking about tomorrow's reception, we talked with them for a while and went to our room to take some rest.

Next day~

Maanvi's POV:

With the final touch up my makeup is completed, this dress is so pretty and comfortable. I twirled and laughed myself.

Advik walked out from the closet and stared at me for a few seconds.

Resting his head on my shoulder and back hugged me "ohh my Rapunzel is looking so stunning in this dress" and nuzzled his nose on my neck.

I was surprised to hear a new name from him

"Rapunzel?" I asked, he nodded and tightened his grip.

"Yes, Rapunzel! My Rapunzel" said and planned a kiss on my neck.

I blushed hard and bite my lips, he is staring me with so much love in his eyes.

We are standing in the middle of the stage, Advik introduced me to his relatives and friends.

"Maanvi beta" called someone, I turned and saw gautam uncle came with his daughter Tara

"Uncle you came late" I complained while glaring playfully

"You know about him na di, always busy with work, I guess even you won't work this much for your company" Tara said chuckling and gave me the gift.

I laughed at her joke while uncle shakes his head smiling.

Tara is just 19, doing her studies in BBA course, even though we have an age gap between us she is always so close to me.

"Are you both done with your jokes?" He asked us giving a look, we both chuckled.

"Maanvi you are looking so beautiful today I wish your parents were present here" he said with moist eyes, i also got tears hearing him.

"Uffo you both are still children, aunty and uncle are seeing you from heaven, they'll be happy to see you, but if you are crying they won't like it" Tara said making us laugh.

"You are right beta, and thank you gautham for making maanvi as our daughter in law, she is perfect for our family" said Ashok uncle I mean dad.

Everyone is enjoying themselves, aunties are grouped and taking gossip, the uncles are busy in their business talk and the youngsters are in their own world, but my eyes are searching for that one person.

The person who makes my heart beat does bharatanatyam.

"Do I have the pleasure of dancing with this beautiful lady?" I turned to see my handsome hunk husband is forwarding his hand towards me with a sweet smile.

I giggled "of course Mr.Handsome" placed my hand on his, we headed towards the dance floor. Everyone moved aside for us, it's our reception party obviously we're stars tonight.

We moved according to the song, I placed my hand on his shoulder and he locked his hand on my waist, his eyes are very magnificent as I couldn't move my graze from him.

He slightly bumped his head into mine and smiled.

Uffo!! this smile is just enough to get butterflies, not just butterflies, a whole zoo inside my stomach.

Shortly everyone joined us and the dance completed with full josh.

After the dance, he took me to the dim corner "Advik!! What are you doing someone will see us, leave me" I Wiggles but he holds me even tighter but I'm thrilled inside, finally I got some privacy with my husband

"You are such a desperate lady, who always wants to stick with your husband  but look pretending like all innocent"  my subconscious mocked me.

"You better shut up"  i replied

"Back to earth Rapunzel" he murmured against my cheeks making it a deep shade of red.

Gripping my fist I mumbled "why you took me here"

"That's because I want to spend my time with my Rapunzel" he whispered
